Repairs

We are very successful at diagnosing boiler problems at first time of asking and can often carry out the repair on the first visit. This is based on a thorough knowledge of boiler types and extensive links with a wide range of specialist suppliers of boiler parts. All our repairs are guaranteed for 12 months (parts and labour)

Our hourly labour rates can be applied to boiler repairs. Alternatively charges can be agreed on a fixed, pre-quoted price if customers feel that will prove less costly.

Servicing

It is essential that new boilers are serviced by a Gas Safe registered engineer every 12 months from the date of installation in order to preserve the manufacturer’s warranty.

A high proportion of boiler breakdowns arise from a lack of annual servicing

Our full service includes:

  • visual inspection of key components (e.g. burner, main injector, heat exchanger, condense trap, spark probe and seals and fans)
  • thorough cleaning of all components
  • inspection of all pipework
  • check for flue obstructions
  • examination of the soundness of flue connections
  • combustion analysis check
  • gas tightness test
